About the Position

We are a small, established civil engineering and land surveying firm looking for a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being an important part of a small team.

Responsibilities

Answer phones and assist clients in a friendly, professional manner

Prepare and send client invoices

Process payments and bank deposits

Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable

Maintain client and project files

Assist project managers and engineers with administrative needs

Prepare letters, reports, correspondence, and other documents

Manage general office organization and supplies

Coordinate various office activities

Provide general administrative support to the company

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

Organized and dependable

Detail-oriented and accurate

Comfortable handling multiple tasks and changing priorities

Friendly and professional when working with clients and coworkers

Able to work independently and take initiative

A good communicator, both written and verbal

Comfortable learning new software and office procedures

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks is preferred. Previous administrative or office experience is a plus.

Schedule

Monday--Friday, 8:00 a.m.--5:00 p.m.

No evenings or weekends.
