Position Summary:We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented self-starters-Accountants (Certified Public Accountants) with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare individual and business tax returns

Perform bookkeeping and general accounting tasks

Assist with audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting

Analyze financial data and provide financial recommendations

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting standards

Communicate with clients to gather information and provide updates

Maintain accurate and organized financial records and workpapers

Qualifications:

Active CPA license (for CPA applicants)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required)1+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred

Strong knowledge of tax regulations and GAAPProficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, tax prep software, etc.)

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and time management abilities

Willingness to work on-site in Fort Dodge, Iowa

Willingness to travel to complete onsite work when necessary
