Position Summary

Cole Tooling and Stamping is seeking a motivated Tool and Die Apprentice to join our manufacturing team. This is an entry-level opportunity for an individual interested in developing a skilled-trades career in tool and die making. The apprentice will receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced toolmakers, machinists, and production personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with building, repairing, maintaining, and modifying dies, fixtures, jigs, and tooling.

Learn to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.

Operate and train on manual and CNC machining equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.

Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.

Help troubleshoot tooling and production issues.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all company safety, quality, and attendance requirements.

Participate in related classroom instruction and on-the-job training, as applicable.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing, machining, or skilled trades.

Ability to read basic measurements and perform basic math.

Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move up to [50] pounds as needed.

Previous shop, machining, welding, automotive, vocational-school, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule:

Monday--Friday, 7:00 a.m.--3:10 p.m., overtime as needed
