About the Role

The Office Manager runs the business end of Bagwell Tree Service. You'll be the first voice clients hear on the phone, the person keeping quotes, invoices, payroll, and the books in order, and the one making sure nothing falls through the cracks while our crews are out in the field. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role for someone who's comfortable with numbers, organized by nature, and genuinely good with people.

You'll work closely with the owner and, over time, take full ownership of the office and financial side of the business so he can focus on leading the crew and growing the company.

What We're Looking For

Respectful, Responsible, and Teachable --- first and always

Comfortable working with numbers --- invoicing, receipts, payroll, and basic bookkeeping don't intimidate you

Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in writing

Highly organized, with an eye for detail and follow-through

Comfortable learning new software and systems (QuickBooks, Jobber, Microsoft 365)

Experience with office administrative tasks --- phone/email management, scheduling, filing, and general office operations

Some bookkeeping or customer service experience preferred, but not required for the right person

Trustworthy with confidential client and financial information

Able to work independently and take ownership of the role

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time position with some flexibility in daily hours

Pay: $17--$25/hour and up, depending on experience
