The Sanders County Ledger is seeking an Office Manager.

We're looking for an organized, energetic, customer-focused Office Manager to become the hub of our busy Main Street business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys juggling multiple priorities, solving problems, and helping both customers and coworkers have a great experience.

Our office manages a variety of projects simultaneously, so the ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. We're looking for someone who is confident in taking direction while also thinking independently and finding solutions when challenges arise.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and by email.

Manage daily office operations while keeping multiple projects organized and moving forward.

Assist with project coordination and administrative support for multiple departments.

Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.

Manage daily cash handling procedures, including opening and closing, balancing cash drawers, preparing bank deposits and ensuring accurate financial records.

Process customer payments accurately and maintain accountability for transactions.

Prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Learn and utilize software, systems, and procedures as needed.

Identify problems, develop solutions and take initiative to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Positive attitude and professional demeanor with a willingness to help wherever needed.

Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities without sacrificing accuracy.

Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.

Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team.

Ability to follow direction while taking initiative to improve processes and solve challenges.

Proficient with computers and willing to learn new software and technology.

Previous office management or administrative experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate with the right attitude.

Ability to lift 25+ lbs and the ability to stand for long periods of time.

Hours

Part Time to Full Time, 21 -- 32 hours per week
