GENERAL SUMMARY

Provides automotive services by performing inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently, safely, and according to Ford's quality and time standards. Complies with Ford and American Ford's safety and environmental programs and practices. Automotive services may include, but are not limited to drivability, suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning, basic and ABS brakes and exhaust systems.

Reports To: Service Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieving High Standards

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Completes service and repair assignments correctly, to pass quality inspections or test drives.

Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools; keeps tools in good working order.

Must have own tools. Specialty tools provided.

Working Effectively With Others

Promotes a productive working relationship with others.

Understanding and Using Business Knowledge

Acquires necessary Ford Motor Company training as required.

Education/Certification Requirements*

Valid Driver's License and no driving restrictions.

Physical Requirements

Frequently using hand and/or power tools and equipment consistent with industry standards.

Occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds.

Hours of Work/ Salary

Full-time, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week.

$25 - $45 per hour, DOE with benefits
