Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

Agway is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Part-Time Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in a busy agricultural retail and feed mill environment. This position will work with a variety of products, including animal feed, lawn and garden supplies, agricultural products, and other retail merchandise. The position will also be responsible for safely filling propane tanks for customers.

Essential Duties

Receive, unload, organize, and properly store animal feed, lawn and garden products, agricultural supplies, and other merchandise.

Pull, stage, load, and assist customers with purchases while providing friendly and helpful service.

Maintain an organized warehouse and assist with inventory control, product rotation, and restocking of merchandise.

Safely fill propane tanks in accordance with company procedures, required training, and all applicable safety regulations.

Inspect propane tanks and equipment before filling and maintain accurate records of propane transactions.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.

Assist customers with loading feed, lawn and garden products, and other purchases into vehicles.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and outdoor storage area.

Assist with seasonal product setup, stocking, and general store and warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, agricultural, feed mill, lawn and garden, or retail experience preferred.

Ability to safely lift and move bags of feed, soil, fertilizer, and other products.

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.

Ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.

Willingness to complete required propane-handling and safety training.

Forklift experience or certification is a plus.

Schedule: Part-Time; hours and schedule to be determined based on business needs. Morning hours
