KUBIDO INC. DBA KUBIDO KABOBS IS HIRING A HEAD COOK.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Supervision of 3-6 kitchen staff

Assist with menu development, seasonal offerings, and recipe standardization -ensure

Compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health dept regulations

Manage prep schedules for food trucks, catering, and future brick and mortar operations

Train and supervise kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food prep, and portion sizes

Oversee preparation of Persian marinades, spice blends, rice dishes, stews, and traditional sides and sauces according to traditional Persian methods

Monitor food costs, minimize waste, and assist with inventory planning

Support menu expansion, expansion to brick-and-mortar location, and catering events

Ensure consistency, quality, and authenticity of all menu items

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

24 months experience working as Head Cook in a Persian restaurant

Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification within 30 days of hire

Ability to prepare traditional Persian kabobs using manual and automated skewering equipment and charcoal and gas grilling techniques and to prepare traditional Persian rice-to be tested in the interview

Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

Knowledge of food cost control, batch preparation, commercial kitchen equipment, and automated grilling systems-to be assessed in the interview

Willing to travel less than 1% of work hours within local metro area
