Position: Senior Manager, Sales

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Job Duties: Responsible for the management and supervision of a team of account managers and engineers to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and to seek and secure new business opportunities with current and new customers while maintaining and expanding current business with the customer. Lead sales and marketing efforts of automobile and multimedia products for the North American automobile industry. Lead team to seek and secure new business opportunities with principal customers by providing direction and guidance to daily activities. Maintain and expand existing business with principal customers. Create relationships with the principal key accounts that will lead them to work with Mitsubishi Electric on future programs. Lead the management of open issues to closure (including quality, cost, timing, profit, customer satisfaction, etc.) by identifying, prioritizing, communicating and executing aligned solutions. Responsible for all sales controlling topics and engineering management. Generate quotation strategy, data collection, sales logic, price breakdowns, internal approvals, negotiation and contracts. Meet with customer management representatives regionally and globally to ensure program/ project objectives (cost, timing, quality, profit) are being met within designated parameters. Responsible for planning activities related to pricing, volumes, risk and special revenues. Lead pricing and successful negotiations with customer management. Manage internal communication of project status and Sales KPI ( e.g. price management, business planning, profit and loss tracking, acquisition reporting, claim management). Manage the development and preparation of impact analysis against initial project premises & coordinate change points with applicable stakeholders. Develop and review responsible team members.

Job Requirements: Four years of experience as a Sr. Sales Manager, Account Manager, or equivalent automotive product sales job/experience

Must have experience with the following:

Managing and leading a team of sales personnel (account managers, application engineers).

Automotive OEM's purchasing systems and methodologies

Automotive OEM sales

Working with manufacturing processes and lead times for powertrain, infotainment, and ADAS products

Analyzing P & L and cost structures to support pricing and margin decisions

Leading pricing strategy, quotation development, and contract negotiations

Sales data analysis and reporting

Travel Requirement: 1-2 domestic travel days per month (Ohio, Indiana, Alabama, and South Carolina) and one yearly trip to Japan.
