Administrative Assistant / Receptionist

Work Location: 607 Sand Bar Ferry Road, Augusta, GA 30901

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Environment: On-Site, Reception Desk in Front Office Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 hrs/week

Starting Pay: $18-$22/hr

Expected Fill Time: Late August 2026

Reason for Opening: Our current Admin Assistant will be going to law school in September.

Hagler Systems is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to help create a positive first impression for visitors, customers, applicants, and team members. In this important front-office role, youll keep daily operations running smoothly while supporting a welcoming, professional, and efficient workplace. Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, customers, vendors, applicants, and employees

Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, orders, and correspondence

Maintain office filing systems and records

Schedule meetings and assist with calendar management

Provide administrative support to all departments

Assist with data entry, document preparation, and report generation

Order and maintain office supplies and inventory

Maintain break room, conference rooms, coffee stations, and common areas

Support HR functions

i.e.: general paperwork, timekeeping for payroll, employee needs, safety meetings, team luncheons, etc.

Support Accounting functions

i.e.: emailing payment advice, reviewing and filing invoices, making online payments, etc.

Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information

Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

Previous administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office support experience preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Office365, Outlook, Word, Excel)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Professional appearance and demeanor

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
