Administrative Assistant

Deer Park, NY Immediate Hire F/T

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 an hour based on experience. Overtime may be required during tax season.

Mon-Fri 9 AM to 5 PM. 40 hours per week.

We are seeking a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to support our busy accounting practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping clients, keeping operations running smoothly and working in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

Answer phones and greet clients professionally.

Schedule appointments and manage calendars.

Prepare correspondence and client documents using MS Word and Excel.

Assist with client files, data entry and document management.

Support the Accounting staff with Administrative tasks.

Perform general office duties.

Qualifications:

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

(QuickBooks experience is preferred.

Knowledge of additional accounting software is a plus.

Previous experience with an accounting firm is highly desirable.

Ability to work independently while providing exceptional customer service.
