Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor screw machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining instructions to ensure accurate production runs

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on screw machines to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency

Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and tolerances

Adjust machine settings and tooling based on measurement feedback to maintain consistent quality

Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools, welding equipment, cranes, and other machinery

Document production data, machine performance logs, and quality control reports accurately for process tracking

Experience

Proven experience operating screw machines or similar machining equipment in a manufacturing setting

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings

Knowledge of machining tools setup, tooling selection, and precision measurement techniques such as micrometers and calipers

Ability to work safely in environments requiring adherence to safety standards in production facilities

Basic math skills for measurement calculations and process adjustments
