Under general supervision, Customer Service Representatives are responsible for assisting applicants, clients, the general public, court and agency personnel both by telephone and in person. The Customer Service position acts as the initial point of contact for individuals requesting child support services.

Full Time - 40 Hrs. per week - Monday-Friday $16.21 per hr.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Performs a variety of customer service duties such as assisting clients with general inquiries as well as providing case specific information by phone and in person, screens incoming calls to the Agency for priority and forwards to appropriate worker, resolving simple complaints and annotates all case activity by entering running record comments into the SETS system.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Receives, screens, and verifies documents and information submitted to the agency.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Processes daily incoming and outgoing mail; scans documents into the case files and forwards them to the appropriate worker if necessary.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}When necessary, re-mails returned ordinary, certificate of mailing, and certified mail.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Types forms, documents, letters, etc., and enters data into computer.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Responds to inquiries from clients via the agency voicemail system and the Child Support Web Portal and completes case dictation.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Maintains Divorce Spreadsheet and works other monthly reports as needed.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Processes child support payments.

[ ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance.
