Schedule: Monday -- Thursday | 6:00 AM -- 4:00 PM

About Bridge Components Industries

Bridge Components Industries is a specialized manufacturer of elastomeric bridge bearings and custom steel and rubber products used in bridge and highway construction projects throughout the United States. We manufacture products that support critical transportation infrastructure and work with contractors, distributors, and state Departments of Transportation across the country.

We're looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our manufacturing team. No bridge bearing experience is required---we're willing to train the right person.

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll be involved in every step of building custom elastomeric bridge bearings, including:

Build and assemble custom steel molds

Read production sheets and accurately measure materials

Measure and cut rubber to specification

Weigh rubber compounds for each production run

Assemble bearings using rubber, steel laminates, and steel load plates

Load and unload molds throughout the manufacturing process

Trim and finish completed bearings

Inspect finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy

Operate a forklift to safely move materials and finished products

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Work as part of a small team to meet production schedules and customer deadlines

Qualifications

Required

Ability to accurately read a tape measure

Good basic math skills

Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Reliable transportation and excellent attendance

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred

Forklift experience

Manufacturing or production experience

Experience using hand tools, grinders, saws, or fabrication equipment

Forklift certification is a plus but is not required. Training can be provided.
