Job Title: MATERIAL HANDLER

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Material Handler will be responsible for loading and replenishing manufacturing materials and supplies optimally, timely and effectively in a safe and organized manner to meet output requirements while ensuring that product quality meets the required specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Performs warehouse material withdrawal transaction according to materials management system.

Operates various production equipment to load materials for PV module assembly.

Conducts inspection using materials criteria prior loading.

Reports material out of specification criteria to Quality team.

Verifies correct material and equipment recipes prior loading.

Understand the difference of material part numbers and verify if the correct material is withdrawn and loaded in the machine.

Always complies with applicable standard policies, procedures and specifications.

Work with planning, warehouse, and manufacturing teams to ensure that all materials are loaded on time with the least amount of production downtime.

Comply with all safety requirements.

Be present on the production floor at least 15 minutes before the start of shift for proper endorsement from the outgoing shift.

Performs shift duties and volunteer for overtime work as the need arises.

Observes scheduled break time and punctuality at work.

Performs Pre-flight/Endorsement/Calibration procedure.

Escalates to Supervisor in a timely manner all operational concerns such as but not limited to abnormal yield, quality, productivity, safety and all other issues that will jeopardize production performance.

Proactively offer ideas that could provide improvements in production.

Ensure all data logs, transactions and reports are accurate and timely.

Maintains good housekeeping.

Be accountable for the proper upkeep of assigned tools and peripherals.
