McDonald & Associates, CPAs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of individual and business clients while developing your accounting and tax expertise in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, business, payroll, and other tax returns

Assist clients with bookkeeping and accounting services

Prepare financial statements and related reports

Process payroll and payroll tax filings

Communicate professionally with clients regarding accounting and tax matters

Research tax and accounting issues as needed

Maintain accurate client records and documentation

Assist with year-end reporting and compliance requirements

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

Experience in public accounting preferred but not required

Knowledge of accounting principles and tax preparation

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Experience with Accounting CS, Drake, or similar software is a plus
