Apply business advice of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, proactively identifying and articulating emerging technical issues. Apply auditing standards and firm audit methodology, reinforce compliance requirements, and evaluate and respond to the results of audit procedures. Provide clients value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. Use project management skills to maximize the effectiveness of the audit, managing and prioritizing issues based on materiality and risk. Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for clients. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $152,000 - $176,000/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 6 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 4 years of related work experience.

Certification(s) required: US CPA or a foreign equivalent.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

Applying audit approaches including applicable auditing standards and firm audit methodologies;

Working on large projects in assessing engagement risks, driving conclusions, reviewing and delivering accounting solutions;

Advising clients on relevant technical issues for their business including regulatory and compliance issues;

Working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards; and

Working with large and complex data sets to build models and innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions.

50% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 60% required.
