Job Duties Private Property Impound Tow Truck Driver Duties

Respond to dispatched private property impound towing assignments.

Verify vehicle information and towing authorization before removing vehicles.

Photograph vehicles and document their condition prior to towing.

Safely load, secure, and transport vehicles to the impound lot.

Complete all required towing documentation accurately and completely.

Report impounded vehicles to law enforcement agencies as required by law.

Operate tow trucks and towing equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tow trucks and equipment.

Maintain clean and accurate records of all tows performed.

Communicate professionally with dispatchers, property managers, vehicle owners, and law enforcement.

Follow all company policies, state regulations, and safety procedures.

Keep tow trucks clean, fueled, and properly maintained.

Assist with vehicle releases and lot operations when needed.

Work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as required.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to safely operate wheel-lift and flatbed tow trucks.

Strong attention to detail and ability to complete required paperwork.

Basic computer and smartphone skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform physically demanding work.

Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult customer interactions.

Minimum Education Required Valid Driver license

Minimum Experience Required we train two weeks or more
