Job Overview:

The Production Operator entails learning the 5 functional roles and operating in each role on a rotating basis.

Job will be performed in a production facility and requires medical clearance of lifting of up to 63 lbs. as well as standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, speaking, listening, using a respirator, and occasional sitting.

A reasonable amount of overtime is required, sometimes including Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Wearing of employee-furnished Safety Shoes and company-provided PPE is required.

Only rarely do employees transfer shifts and an applicant should not seek a position with the intention of moving to another shift.

Line Station Responsibilities

Operates two packaging machines (Case Erector, Bag Inserter) in tandem, making sure each has the needed inputs and is operating properly, otherwise utilizing manually prepared boxes and bags.
