Job Description:** The Canton Woman's Club in Canton, OH, has an Administrative Assistant (Part Time) opening.

Overview:

The Canton Woman's Club has created a reputation as a destination venue for various catered events. We are looking for a responsible person to perform a variety of administrative clerical tasks resulting in the efficient and effective operations of the club.

Major Responsibilities:

[Responsible for receiving visitors by greeting them in person or on the phone.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Answers calls and sees that messages get to the appropriate people in a timely manner.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Refers to membership yearbook as a guide for directing visitors.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Sorts and distributes incoming mail. Handles outgoing mail.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Maintains club emails. Writes and distributes email, correspondence memos, letters and forms.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Drafts, reviews and proofreads office documents. As requested by the Event Coordinator, prepares and revises event related documents including contracts, menus and forms.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Responsible for data entry as assigned.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Maintains an organized filing system and files all club documents in a timely manner.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Manages the reservation systems for a variety of catered events for club members and the public.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Balances the cash boxes.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Performs financial duties: writing checks, balancing petty cash, filing financial documents.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[As needed, assists with the publishing and mailing of the club newsletter.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Maintains an accurate office supply inventory and orders supplies as needed.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Responsible for operating and maintaining office machines.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
