Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) have a fun job. They support amazing people with Down Syndrome, Autism, CP, Seizure d/o etc. Tuesday-Friday 7:15am- @ 5:15pm. No evenings, weekends or holidays.

DSPs work at the family-owned ABLE day program in Grand Junction, CO. DSPs take adults with disabilities bowling, visit museums, libraries & go out to lunch at local restaurants. We have dance parties & do lots of arts & crafts.

DSPs drive work vehicles to and from a person's home and to outings. They support some people in our care with ADLs such as eating and restroom use. Qmap'd DSPs give medications, provide first aid and clean up the messy parts of life. Documenting services is also an important part of the job.

Medical DSPs provide more person-specific care to medically fragile clients, i.e. gtube feedings, can assess medical needs alongside the agency nurse, monitor oxygen use, note psychotropic medication side effects & DME use and care.

No experience needed. We provide training. Requirements include:

Must be at least 21 years of age to drive/18 year+ welcome to apply

High School Diploma/GED

Must have a clean driving record and clean background check. CO Driver's license is needed.

Wages range from $18/hr - $20/hr based on education, experience, Spanish-speaking abilities etc. Full Time hours inc. dental benefits, a simple IRA & PTO
