Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to restaurant recipes and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure food is prepared safely, efficiently, and consistently during service.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, portioning, and storing food items.

Cook menu items according to recipes, presentation standards, and customer specifications.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment.

Monitor food quality, freshness, and inventory levels.

Follow food safety and health regulations.

Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service.

Restock supplies and ingredients as needed during shifts.

Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Previous cooking or restaurant experience preferred but not required. We will train.

Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
