Excavator Operator

Part-Time | Hourly + Benefits

About the Role\ We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in excavation, grading, trenching, and site development projects while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Operating excavators for excavation, trenching, grading, and site

preparation

Reading plans, grade stakes, and project specifications

Performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

Working closely with foremen and crew members to complete project

tasks

Ensuring safety, quality, and productivity on site

Assisting with general labor duties as needed

Maintaining accurate time tracking and required documentation

Qualifications

3+ years of excavator operating experience

Experience with site development, grading, and utility work

preferred

Ability to read plans and understand grade stakes

Knowledge of safe excavation practices and equipment operation

Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
