Position Interface

This position reports directly to a Rod Shop Production Lead or Supervisor and will interact daily with other Rod Shop associates including the Management Team.

Responsibilities:

Be an ambassador of the Brand and embody the Orvis culture and its core values

Perform tasks in the overall process to complete the manufacturing of an Orvis Fly Rod, including but not limited to:

Operating state-of-the-art rod manufacturing equipment

Cutting, cleaning, and painting rod sections

Assembling and installing reel seats and cork handles

Affixing guides to rod blanks

Inspecting work and ensuring quality control

Work to specification and meet daily production goals
