This position requires a minimum of seven years of experience in the areas of carpentry, concrete, excavation, plumbing, HVAC or electrical contracting. The Construction Foreman's primary role is to supervise and train labor staff in the areas of carpentry, floor and ceiling installation,masonry, minor plumbing, painting and electrical repairs and overall residential and commercial facility construction and maintenance tasks, while also performing this work themselves. Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in extreme temperatures. Applicant must be able to confidently climb ladders and scaffolding with proper safety equipment.

The foreman must be able to confidently manage construction laborers and work independently. He/she will assist superintendent in scheduling work and labor distribution. This position requires a mature individual who exhibits good judgment and respects staff and management. We are as interested in your character as we are in your experience.

This is a full-time, hourly wage position. SH employees may qualify for prevailing wagecompensation when the company is performing work on PW eligible projects. Currently, PW projects consist of approximately 50% of our project load.
