Direct Support Professional (DSP)

LCD Agency Services -- Hamilton, Ohio

LCD Agency Services is currently seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in the Hamilton, Ohio area.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities and other support needs, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life in a safe and supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care

Provide Homemaker Personal Care (HPC) services

Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary

Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties

Assist with medication reminders and medication administration *as permitted

Support individuals with community involvement and daily routines

Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding care provided

Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Current CPR and First Aid certifications preferred *(Certifications may be available onsite)

Ability to pass State and Federal background checks

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude

Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in healthcare, caregiving, home health, direct support, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required.
