Job Description Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks an Actuarial Analyst I in Jersey City, NJ.

Duties: Collaborate with other ISO/Verisk divisions (including Actuarial Operations, Analytic Data Management, Compliance and Product Services, Government Relations) to maintain, enhance, and develop personal property products that respond to the current market, competitive, and technological landscape, and integrate them into ISO's various Personal Property programs. Work toward becoming one of the key ambassadors for your line of business and its products. Conduct research on new modeling techniques and new data sources to help support and enhance our current products and develop new products. Drive quality results and customer focus into everyday operations. Support our products by responding to customer and regulatory inquiries; providing expert advice to customers; and developing marketing material, publications, and other documents to support such efforts. Build and maintain a network of contacts within and outside Verisk to keep up with market trends and customer needs. Along with other special projects, this position will provide support and analysis for rating bureaus. Lead the innovation and update of personal property insurance programs in response to the changing business environment. Analyze market, industry, competitor, legal and regulatory trends and use these to provide actionable insights that drive the business of both the company and its customers. $90,750 to $95,750.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field, plus 2 years of experience. The position also requires 2 years of experience in all of the following:

Programming in SQL, Python, R, and SAS.
Predictive modeling and/or data analysis
Insurance analytics experience with knowledge of market, industry, customer, and competition
Product development experience and experience working with customers

Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field, plus knowledge of the following concepts gained through work experience involving these concepts, or through coursework at the Bachelor's or higher level involving these concepts:
Programming in SQL, Python, R, and SAS.
Predictive modeling and/or data analysis
Insurance analytics experience with knowledge of market, industry, customer, and competition
Product development experience and experience working with customers
