Nordic PCL Construction, Inc. seeks Project Manager

Job Description: Provide overall contract administration and technical expertise for a small construction project or area of a larger construction project. Accountable for safety, budget, quality, schedule, and profitability performance. Oversee project personnel operations and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships. Responsible for a project valued at up to $20M or acts as area project manager on a project with a combined scope greater than $15M. Develop and implement the project safety plan, leading by example for health and safety practices and procedures. Ensure the project is constructed as per design, budget, quality, and schedule. Participate in the review of design documentation and seeks resolution from the design team with respect to compliance, scope creep, cost optimization, code requirements, procurement, safety in design, construction sequencing, and constructability. Assist the project team lead in coordinating and monitoring the design deliverables to facilitate and/or assist with permits, procurement, shop drawings, offsite production, construction, and commissioning in conjunction with the review and signoff by the client. Oversee project performance, schedule and resources. Assist the project team lead in monitoring the design team for timely response to the submittal schedule. Identify scope gaps, technical risk, and areas requiring interdisciplinary coordination from the design documents. Provide performance status reports for safety, cost forecast, and schedule. Negotiate and issue subcontracts, revisions, and major purchase orders, and monitors their progress and schedule. Participate in overall project closeout, including document archival, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work. Job position located at various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Position will report to HQ in Denver, CO. Position supervises 1-5 employees based on project needs including Field Engineers, Project Engineers, and Administrative and Safety Staff.

Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related and 2 years of experience in the construction industry. Must have experience in each of the following skills: Application of safety and environment principles and procedures; Construction law and building codes including ability to read and interpret blueprints; Project management including overseeing project schedules; Cost and change management; Formulate and administer subcontracts and contract documents; Project management, scheduling, and estimating software: Power BI, Bluebeam, , Primavera P6, and AutoCAD. Salary is $103,979 - $114,000 per YEAR.
