Administrative/Office Parttime Opportunity | 30--35 Hours Per Week

JN House Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented office team member to join our team. This position supports restaurant operations through administrative, accounting, customer service, and insurance-related responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office tools, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Background experience in accounting, payroll, insurance administration, or office management is preferred.

This role will begin in-office with the opportunity for a partial work-from-home hybrid schedule once job duties, expectations, and routines are established.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor email communications for Owner/Operators, ensuring timely follow-up and organization.

Perform data entry, bill payment processing, and financial administration utilizing QuickBooks and Microsoft Office tools.

Prepare and organize financial information for accountants and verify restaurant cash deposits.

Maintain insurance eligibility spreadsheets and assist employees with benefit enrollment processes.

Support employee benefit administration, including terminated employee updates and 401(k) administration assistance.

Handle customer concerns professionally with the goal of service recovery, including follow-up communication and mailing replacement meal coupons.

Complete labor reporting requirements including monthly Current Employment Statistics (CES) and quarterly Multiple Worksite Reports.

Coordinate community involvement initiatives including donations, fundraisers, sponsorships, and career day participation.

Provide administrative support to restaurant leadership teams, including reporting assistance and employee uniform/apparel management.

Qualifications

Previous administrative office experience required; fast-paced environment preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software required.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.

Experience with insurance administration and/or 401(k) processes is a plus.
