The Journeymen Electrician plays a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems primarily within commercial and industrial environments. This position involves working independently as well as collaborating within a small team to ensure that all projects meet safety and quality standards. The role requires adherence to OSHA, National Electrical Code, and company-specific safety protocols, with opportunities for career advancement into supervisory positions.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in commercial and industrial settings

Execute wiring tasks following blueprints and technical diagrams

Ensure compliance with safety protocols including OSHA and National Electrical Code

Interact with customers to address questions and provide updates

Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects

Utilize hand and power tools proficiently to perform electrical work

Conduct inspections to ensure code compliance and system integrity

Travel locally to various job sites as required. All work will be in the Denver metro area.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Reliable self starter.

Able to work by yourself.

Required Qualifications

Valid Journeyman Electrician License

Valid drivers license.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in electrical work

Training from an accredited apprentice program

Strong skills in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting

Thorough knowledge of code compliance

Proficient use of hand and power tools

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
