The Point is seeking a responsible Housekeeping Manager to oversee all housekeeping operations at our luxury all-inclusive resort nestled in the Adirondacks. In addition to managing our offsite laundry facility in Saranac Lake. This role ensures exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and presentation throughout guest rooms and public spaces while maintaining the highest standards of personalized service. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating an elevated guest experience in a boutique hospitality setting.

Major Areas of Focus:

Leadership & Team Management

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise housekeeping staff

Lead by example with a hands-on approach, assisting with daily cleaning when needed

Foster a culture of pride, professionalism, and excellence

Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching

Guest Experience & Quality Control

Ensure guest rooms meet luxury resort, Forbes Five Star, and Relais & Chateau standards for cleanliness, presentation, and comfort

Inspect rooms and public areas daily to ensure consistency and attention to detail

Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and special accommodations

Collaborate with Front Desk and Management to support seamless guest stays

Operations & Inventory

Manage linen, laundry, amenities, and cleaning supply inventory

Maintain par levels and place orders in a cost-effective manner

Oversee laundry operations, including fine linens and specialty items

Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of equipment and supplies

Collaboration & Planning

Coordinate with Maintenance and Management regarding room readiness and repairs

Prepare rooms for arrivals, departures, special events, and seasonal openings

Assist with deep cleans, seasonal turnovers, and special projects

Scope of Work: The Housekeeping Manager oversees all departmental operations of housekeeping and plans, executes, and verifies, the cleaning and production of all guest rooms and public areas. The Housekeeping Manager will be required to adhere to the provided budget when ordering supplies and creating labor schedules that will ultimately be based on hotel occupancy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
