Immediate opening for an office assistant, paralegal or legal assistant. Will consider full time or part time applicants. Employment is needed at the office with no work from home options. The opportunity is there for the right person who wants to work up to a full time role, but there is also an opportunity for someone who just wants to be part time around their family schedule. Work hours can be flexed to allow for family responsibilities and events for full or part time employees. Major holidays are with paid time off for all employees. For full time employees, vacation and retirement benefits are available. Health insurance benefits are not available.

[Responsibilities]{.underline}

This is a small, single attorney office in the Shawnee suburb of Lima, Ohio, focusing primarily on family law with occasional bankruptcy, criminal and personal injury cases. Work duties are primarily legal support and office management, such as drafting and filing legal documents, sending legal correspondences, answering incoming calls, scheduling the calendar, and ordering office supplies.

[Pay]{.underline}: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on ability and experience.

[Requirements]{.underline}

College educated applicants are preferred, with legal professionals such as paralegals or legal assistants best suited for the job duties. While experience is also preferred, recent graduates and current college students in any of these fields are encouraged to apply.

Ability to commute to office and provide proof of insurance and valid driver's license for occasional trips to Court and other places.

Must be able to pass a background check to become a Notary Public.
