Location: Greater Lansing Area, MI Pay: $22--$25 per hour Schedule: Monday--Friday, approximately 4 hours per day to start Potential for Full-Time

We are seeking an organized and dependable Administrative Assistant in the Greater Lansing area. This position is ideal for someone with strong QuickBooks experience who can handle accounting and general office responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Maintain and organize office files and records

Enter A/R and generate invoices in QuickBooks

Assist with A/P and prepare summaries for weekly check runs

Print checks and enter manual checks

Follow up with customers by phone and email regarding outstanding invoices

Process occasional credit card payments

Assist with light shipping and receiving, including UPS, FedEx, and DHL paperwork

Use Microsoft Excel and Word as needed

Answer phones and take messages

Provide general administrative support

Qualifications

Strong QuickBooks experience required

Experience with A/R, A/P, invoicing, and check processing

Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Strong communication and follow-up skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Shipping/receiving or export documentation experience is a plus, but not required
