Position Summary

Gathers required documentation from point of approval to closing by communicating and working with frontline Lenders and Commercial Administrative Assistants. Prepares loan packages with legal documents for commercial closing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Processes commercial loans from time of approval, including working with lender and the Banks attorney to clear title, review preliminary mortgage and conveyance certificate, title opinions, title commitments, HUD Settlement Statements, and drafts of legal documents for commercial loan closings

Assembles and verifies the completeness of loan documentation

Answers telephone and written inquiries concerning commercial loan preparation

Reviews legal curative documents as needed

Prepares loan packages and legal documents for commercial loan closing and coordinates closing appointment with Commercial Administrative Assistants

Reviews and verifies entity verification and authority documents

Proofs closing documents for content

Scans, indexes, verifies and archives new commercial loan files and documentation

Records UCC filings and mortgages, as needed

Submits payment of commercial loan related invoices

Prepares, reviews, monitors and maintains reports, as needed

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties, as assigned

Compliance training is assigned to all Bank personnel based on their position with the Bank. Employees are required to complete all assigned training timely and in accordance with Bank policy.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

A minimum of three (3) years related experience working with legal and/or loan documentation.
