What Youll Do

Leadership and Team Development

Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff to build high-performing, motivated teams

Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and teamwork

Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback

Operations and Contract Management

Oversee custodial and grounds services including mowing, landscaping, and facility maintenance

Manage schedules, staffing plans, and service delivery to meet contract expectations

Monitor budgets, control costs, and track expenditures

Client and Community Engagement

Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and community partners

Lead weekly client meetings to ensure satisfaction and address needs proactively

Support recruitment efforts through local partnerships

Compliance and Quality Assurance

Ensure adherence to OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations

Maintain high standards of safety, service quality, and operational efficiency

Step in to perform operational tasks when needed to ensure coverage

What You Bring

Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in a related field

3+ years managing custodial/grounds operations (including budgeting and scheduling)

3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role

Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

Certifications and Requirements

Valid Drivers License (travel required across the region)

Ability to pass required background checks, including:

General background screening

OIG/CMMS exclusions check

Driving record (MVR)

Federal security clearance processes

NM Department of Health fingerprinting
