General Job Description

Engineered Mobile Solutions, Inc. (EMS) is a manufacturing company located in Clermont County, Ohio. EMS builds trailers, shelters, enclosures and equipment to customer specifications for commercial, military and broadcast use.

EMS Welders weld and fabricate components using any of the following welding methods:

MIG, Aluminum and Steel

FCAW, Steel

SKILLS and Qualifications

Capable of passing company required weld coupon testing performed by an outside lab

Must be able to read a tape

Capable of reading and interpreting drawings and weld symbols

Ability to weld components per requirements

Have knowledge of welding tools and equipment

Ability to fabricate components using common shop tools and equipment.

Set up components on jigs

Ability to perform common repair procedures

Maintain welding equipment

Maintain a safe working environment by following procedures and regulations according to industry standards

Physical Requirements

EMS Welders are required to use many @types of equipment and tools such as MIG welders, TIG welders, angle grinders, drills, saws, and clamps. Welders must wear a helmet, protective clothing, other safety gear when required and steel-toed
