JOB TITLE: Staff Accountant DEPARTMENT: Administration REPORT TO: Managing Partner STATUS: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

To provide accounting function

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

20% Assist with weekly payables report preparation and A/R review as well as month end financial reports

15% Maintain bookkeeping files

15% Assist with maintenance and update of accounting files

10% Assist with research projects and preparation of documentation

10% Work on selection of Health Insurance options.

10% Work with selected outside Audit firm with audit /review of financials.

10% Assist with 401K reporting and review

5% Maintain daily bank reconciliation

5% Backup payroll and HR function as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Contribute to the overall success of the company by performing all assigned

Responsibilities in a professional, timely, and efficient manner

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Minimum two year degree in accounting and/or business administration combined with at least three years experience working in a business or accounting office. Experience with Quickbooks.

Equivalent combinations of education and/or experience will be considered.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has direct supervisory experience.
