HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

Location: Westside El Paso

Pay: $19 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support HR operations, maintain employee records, assist with onboarding, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain personnel files, training records, and development documentation

Collect and manage job applications

Conduct applicant reference checks

Maintain timekeeping and PTO records and assist with payroll reports

Prepare monthly timekeeping reports for the production department

Assist with production employee scheduling and distribute schedules

Support new hire orientation and onboarding process

Compile new hire documents and create personnel files

Assist employees with the employee portal and HR questions

Maintain personnel records and HR documentation

Support HR administrative duties and employee relations

Assist with compliance related to OSHA safety requirements

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Some college required, bachelors degree in business administration or related field preferred

Minimum 1 year of Human Resources experience

Bilingual English/Spanish required

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

SAP knowledge is a plus

Knowledge of HR processes, payroll, and workplace safety regulations

Strong organizational and customer service skills
