Job Title: Medical Receptionist (Part-Time) Location: New Vision Family Eye Care Hours: 24--32 hours per week

Position Summary: New Vision Family Eye Care is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for patients while ensuring smooth front office operations.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Answer and manage incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

Verify and process patient insurance information

Run insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations

Handle referrals and coordinate with other healthcare providers

Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system

Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents

Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes

Qualifications:

Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred

Strong phone etiquette and communication skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Experience with insurance verification and referrals is preferred

Proficient in basic computer skills (data entry, scheduling systems, email, etc.)

Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

Work Schedule:

Part-time position, 24--32 hours per week
