COORDINATOR-- Child Support

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Acts as initial point of contact for all incoming applications (014 report, courthouse, IV-E, walk-ins, new divorces etc.), re-openings, closing and tracking of child support and alimony cases, and request for IV-D applications. Compiles all necessary information for case maintenance by researching documentation and records and contacting all parties including attorneys and court representatives when necessary (Contact may be over the phone, by mailed correspondence or in person). Schedules DNA testing and administrative hearings for establishment investigator, sends notices by certified mail. Compiles case files, assigns and submits case to appropriate case manager. Case preparation includes building case in scanning system and scanning hard copy documents.

Receives national medical support notices and documents any necessary information regarding said correspondence. Completes mandatory screens in SETS and notifies the case manager, if appropriate. Sends appropriate forms and documentation as required. Sends Administrative Review requests, assigns request to investigator and send Administrative Review packets to both parties. Tracks new employment for investigators.

Back up financial clerks when needed.

Performs various clerical tasks--copying, filing, typing, sorting, etc.--- as needed.

Performs other related tasks as required. Attends training sessions, conferences and meetings as needed. Performs back up duties as required.

HOURLY RATE: Step A - $19.66

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
