GhostRx is seeking a Bookkeeping specialist to support internal operation in QuickBooks and with guidance from the DFO. This role is well-suited for an organized, detail-oriented professional motivated by the mission to serve those who have served our nation all while adhering to the Ghost principles and core values. A bookkeeper maintains accurate, up-to-date financial records for an organization by recording daily transactions, reconciling bank statements, managing payroll, and handling accounts payable/receivable. They use software like QuickBooks and Excel to prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheets), providing the essential data needed for tax preparation and financial analysis.

Qualification and Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Software Proficiency: Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is standard.

Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and error identification.

Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits).

Experience: 1+ years of bookkeeping or related experience.

Education: High school diploma, or an associate degree in accounting/finance.

Key Responsibilities

Recording Transactions: Documenting all sales, purchases, expenses, and receipts.

Reconciling Accounts: Matching bank and credit card statements with the general ledger.

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Issuing invoices, managing payments to vendors, and following up on client payments.

Payroll Administration: Calculating wages and processing payroll.

Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Data Management: Maintaining accurate, confidential digital and physical financial files.
