Core responsibilities

Repackage products:Select individual items from bulk packaging and place them into smaller, retail-ready units according to specific orders and customer requirements. This is common for produce, where bulk items like tomatoes are repacked into smaller bags or containers.

Quality control:Inspect products for damage, defects, or spoilage before and during the repackaging process. Set aside or properly dispose of any items that do not meet quality standards.

Label and assemble:Apply accurate and clear labels to packaged products, including weight, price, and other necessary information. Assemble and stack finished products onto pallets for distribution.

Maintain inventory:Put away incoming stock and monitor inventory levels in the repack area. Replenish product as needed to keep the workflow moving efficiently.

Sanitation and safety:Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift, following all sanitation and food safety procedures. This includes using tools safely, such as box cutters.

Key skills and qualifications
