Staffing Inc. is partnered with a great privately owned restaurant and retail business in Saugatuck. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Restaurant Line Cook Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients and assist in menu planning according to dietary department guidelines.

Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed.

Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.

Help train new kitchen staff in food handling procedures and best practices.

Restaurant Line Cook Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.

Experience in a culinary environment, preferably as a cook or dietary aide.

Must have proficient knife skills and various cooking techniques.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements while maintaining quality standards.

A passion for culinary arts and commitment to providing exceptional meals.
