Position Overview:

CAM Jr./Sr. High School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered educator to teach 7th-8th grade Mathematics and 9th grade Algeba. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that supports student growth in problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world Mathematical skills.

Responsibilities:

Teach middle school math courses (7th-9th grade).

Develop and implement engaging lessons aligned with state standards and district curriculum.

Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and school initiatives.

Create a classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and academic success.

Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community.

Qualifications:

Valid Iowa Teaching License (or ability to obtain one) with appropriate Math endorsement.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Commitment to positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching middle school mathematics.

Knowledge of current instructional technology and strategies for differentiated learning.

Enthusiasm for connecting mathematical concepts to real-world applications.

Position Type: Full-Time, 9-Month Contract

Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary and full benefits per the CAM Community School District Master Agreement.
