Provide quality coaching and instruction to students enrolled in the CWC Rodeo program including both men's and women's timed events and men's rough stock events.

Coach and assist the teams' members in meeting individual and team goals.

Enforce safety regulations and procedures of the College and the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) through supervision of students in the Program.

Supervise and coordinate the teams' participation in rodeo events and activities including practices, classes, and competitions.

Travels with the teams to off-campus collegiate rodeo events including NIRA Central Rocky Mountain Region Rodeo events and the College National Finals Rodeo.

Recruit students to attend CWC and to participate in the rodeo teams.

Coordinate and cooperate with the Registrar and the Division assistant in certifying student eligibility and obtaining students' NIRA membership.

Maintain teams' roster and individual contact information for team members.

Subject to the approval of the Dean, secure livestock and negotiate and acquire livestock contracts.

Coordinate and collaborate with Equine Center Operations Manager on rodeo stock needs including livestock feeding, transporting and delivery of livestock subject to contracts, and livestock availability for practice.

Collaborate and team-teach with faculty the rodeo marketing class and rodeo program class.

Collaborate with physical education instructor on the required rodeo program physical education class.

Coordinates, with the assistance of the Division assistant, all travel arrangements for teams' member and program coach travel including lodging, meals, and mileage.

Determine program equipment and supply needs and, subject to the approval of the Dean, manage the Rodeo Program Budget and the CWC Rustler Round-Up Annual Rodeo budget.

Attend in-service week, staff development day, convocation, division meetings and other required campus wide and division events.

Share student information with other faculty and counselors when deemed appropriate, including progress reports, attendance records, etc.

Produce and promote the Annual CWC Rustler Round-Up Rodeo including, but not limited to, arranging for livestock, rodeo event contractors, judges, lodging, coordinating with local emergency services, rodeo event sponsorship, and marketing materials.

Lead the coordination of the Rodeo Sponsor Appreciation Lunch with the cooperation of marketing instructor, rodeo team members and the Division assistant.

Serve as the college liaison to the Rodeo Booster Club.

Establish relationships that promote the CWC Rodeo Program in the community.

Perform one or more of the following responsibilities as assigned: game/athletic facility management, classroom instruction (physical education or other coursework), fund raising, marketing, or public relations/sports information.

Performs other reasonably related duties as directed or assigned.
