Operations Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Estimating

As assigned, provide research, cost basis and analysis to support operational objectives

Assist and provide support to estimating on means, methods, sequences, schedule, material breakdowns, rentals and field hours

Assist in labor hour take-offs, equipment sizing, safety processes and pre-bid quotations for specialty fabricated items

Sales

As assigned participate on Pre-bid job site visits

Review pre-bid or pre-contract job site safety requirements

Travel and assist Sales with operational support when closing contracts

Travel and assist Sales when faced with imposing customers

Understand the customers and how the teams can foster a professional relationship

Mentor the site supervisors in customer, subcontractor, and vender relationships

Tool Depot

Support research and development of safe work tools and equipment

Provide planning, logistics, processes, and communication efforts to support Operational Objectives

Develop job specific tool lists and understand the cost associated with them

Develop internal and external material logistic plans

Develop and oversee execution of tool, material and equipment loads to job site

Communicate tools and equipment deficiencies and gather data to support capital purchase to support the business

Lead field crews through tool repair, maintenance, tagging and reporting

Develop and enforce tools and equipment treatment and accountability to the field crews

Analyze buy lists with tool depot to develop alternative methods when capacity is driving costs on buy lists
