General Description:

Must report to work each day as scheduled by Dispatcher on time and

ready to work.

Employee shall call Dispatcher if they are to miss day or report

late.

Must wear required safety clothing and personal safety equipment as

required per daily situation.

Responsible for operating a lowboy truck and trailer to transport

heavy construction equipment, machinery and other oversized loads.

Responsible for safe load and secure cargo: Load and unload

equipment safely, and secure chain, strap, and bind the cargo to the trailer according to weight limits and regulations.

Help with planning routes: Plan efficient and safe route,

considering factors like load size and road conditions.

Responsible for accurate compliance with weight restrictions and

proper load distribution.

Perform minor maintenance. Perform minor servicing on truck and

equipment as needed.

Communicate: Maintain clear communication with dispatch, site

formen.

Follow all safe practice procedures and requirements outlined by

George & Lynch policies as well as any applicable regulatory agencies, such as the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
