Job Title Vendor Coordinator\ Reports To Fairgrounds Administrative Assistant\ Salaried or Hourly Hourly\ FSLA Status Non-Exempt\ Salary Range \$18.00 \$20.00 per hour\ Hours Per Week 19 hours per week

SUMMARY\ Responsible for coordinating with vendors for Madison County events at the Madison County\ Fairgrounds

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\ Work with the Administrative Assistant to create vendor applications for Whoopee Days

Rodeo and Madison County Fair\ Serve as the Point of Contact for vendors in the months leading up and during events\ Maintain vendor records, including applications, insurance, permits/health department

licenses, fees, and other information as needed\ Effectively communicate with Fairgrounds employees, Fair Board members, and vendors\ Answer phone calls and emails as it relates to vendor information for Whoopee Days Rodeo

and Madison County Fair\ Create plan for load-in/load-out for events\ Monitor vendors during events and help solve problems that may arise\ Collaborate with the Administrative Assistant and Fair Board to ensure that vendors are

highlighted in social media posts for events\ Coordinate ticket takers for the Whoopee Days Rodeo and Madison County Fair\ Create schedules for ticket takers to work the events, and train them prior to the events

WORK ENVIRONMENT\ Employee performs both indoor and outdoor physically demanding duties as assigned. Taks\ require a variety of physical activities, generally involving muscular strain, such as lifting, walking,\ standing, stooping, and reaching. Employee may be required to lift more than 75 pounds in the\ normal course of job performance.

QUALIFICATIONS\ Education\ High School diploma or equivalent

Work Experience\ Previous work with setting up events or as a vendor coordinator preferred, not required
