Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Starting Pay: \$27.00+/hour (Based on Experience)\ \$5,000 Sign-On Bonus Limited Time\ Shift Available: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

Primary Responsibilities

Assess residents and monitor changes in condition

Administer medications and evaluate effectiveness

Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans

Provide education and support to residents and families

Document care accurately and timely

Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care

Delegate and collaborate with CNAs and CMAs

Promote resident safety and respond to emergencies

Leadership Responsibilities

Supervise and support nursing assistants and medication aides

Assist with staffing assignments and workflow

Monitor compliance with infection control and safety standards

Support HIPAA compliance and resident confidentiality

Provide performance feedback to nursing leadership

Qualifications

Current Kansas LPN license in good standing

Long-term care experience preferred but not required

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and resident assistance

Ability to safely move and transfer residents

Strong verbal, written, and observational skills
