Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting and guiding youth in a group home setting. This position requires a strong commitment to resident rights, behavior management, and medication administration while fostering a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all residents.

Responsibilities:**

Provide direct support to youth residents in daily activities and personal care.

Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Advocate for resident rights, promoting dignity and respect in all interactions.

Implement behavior management strategies to support positive outcomes for residents.

Assist with recreational activities that engage residents and enhance their quality of life.

Drive residents to appointments or community activities as needed.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.

Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and changes in resident behavior or condition.

Requirements:

Previous experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or assisted living facilities is preferred.

Knowledge of medication administration procedures and resident rights is essential.

Experience in memory care or direct support roles is highly desirables.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with you and their families effectively.

Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and understanding.

A valid driver's license is required for transporting residents when necessary.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

2pm -- 10pm

Pay Range:

$20 - $25 per Hour
